Sure I could go on and on about my cinematic style and creative approach doing something I am passionate about, but what matters most is providing you with a truly unique wedding photography and film experience! I understand the commitment and planning it takes to make your wedding day unforgettable, so that’s why I would like to tell you about myself in order to make sure we’re a great match.
ADVENTURER, STORYTELLER, & PHOTOGRAPHER
Growing up I had an innate sense of creativity. Photography and sports were my favorite ways to express that creativity. During my studies at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I gravitated to storytelling, and began working as an author and journalist after graduation. During this time I developed a love for photography and travel, which is why I am so passionate about destination weddings and adventure elopements.
MY EXPERIENCE
My wedding photography began in New York City, shooting alongside some of the best wedding photographers. I also worked with some of city’s top cinematographers and directors, incorporating a deep understanding of lighting, posing, and human emotions that I learned into my wedding photography. And while I did qualify for an Oscar on my first documentary I directed, my true passion is photography. My style has evolved but my approach is the same. I believe photography is a collaboration where the subject photographed and the photographer each contribute 50-50 to the final image. I look for those spontaneous details, capturing them in a natural flow on a couple’s wedding day. It is my hope that my photographs will be as personalized and as special as you.
